Electric saws, also known as "power saws", use electricity as a power source and are cutting tools for cutting wood, stone, steel, etc., with sharp teeth on the edge. They are divided into fixed and portable types. The saw blades are generally made of tool steel and are available in round, bar, and chain types.
Gasoline chain saws are portable saws powered by gasoline engines, mainly used for logging and timber making. Their working principle is to perform shearing actions by the lateral movement of the staggered L-shaped blades on the saw chain.
Gasoline chain saws have relatively high power, sufficient horsepower, and are relatively durable, but maintenance is troublesome; electric saws are simple to operate and have very low noise, but are expensive. If the workload is relatively large, consider gasoline chain saws, which are cheap and durable. If the workload is not particularly large or for home use, choose electric saws. Now there are rechargeable electric saws, and multiple batteries can also meet the needs, but the cost is relatively high.
